Thanks to the generosity of Professor Emeritus and former Faculty Dean, Jacques Frémont, this substantial $10,000 scholarship is awarded to a graduate student whose academic focus and research topic touches on North-South issues, international co-operation, concerns impacting developing nations or any other question about the relationship between rich countries and poor countries, or on human rights, democracy and conflict resolution, as seen through the lens of development.
