Jean Leclair

Full professor, Canadian Constitutional Law

In 2013, Professor Leclair was awarded a Trudeau Foundation Fellowship, worth $225,000, for the quality and rigour of his research on federalism and the constitutional rights of Aboriginal peoples in Canada. For over ten years, his focus has been on the issue of reconfiguring political relations between Aboriginal peoples and governments, but also of their reconfiguration within the Aboriginal communities themselves.
