For more than 50 years, the Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Law Legal Clinic has been a unique and dynamic place for learning while giving back to the community.
Under the supervision of experienced lawyers, Legal Clinic students offer free legal information services to the public, including members of the university community.
The mission of the Clinic’s activities consists of familiarizing students with the legal profession while responding to a real and critical concern of offering the public a better understanding of their rights and obligations, thus ensuring better accessibility to justice.
Consultations may cover a range of topics, such as:
- Labour Relations
- The consequences of a separation or a divorce (e.g.: custody, estates, alimony, etc.),
- Consumer Protection
- Civil Liability
- and more...
Do not hesitate to contact our free consultation services, offered remotely and by appointment:

Although we are dedicated to serving our community, the high volume of cases already on our waiting list requires us to suspend new registrations until further notice. We encourage you to seek out other free legal resources or to seek the services of a lawyer.
