Immigration and recognition of professional qualifications

The Legal Clinic offers free legal information services for professionals trained abroad in order to facilitate their integration into the Québec job market. 

Under the supervision of experienced lawyers, Legal Clinic students inform professionals of their fundamental rights and guide them in obtaining a license to practice. This service is also available to individuals exercising regulated professions in construction or teaching.

Consultations may cover a range of topics, such as:

  • Rights of Professionals
  • Human Rights
  • Employment Law
  • Immigration Law

Waiting List

Anyone may use the Legal Clinic’s services. However, during periods of high demand, your name may be placed on a waiting list. In such situations, cases  presenting the highest urgency or those with particular educational interest may be prioritized.

Services by appointment

Subject to exceptions, the Clinic is open on Monday until Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

All of our services are available by appointment only.
