General law clinic
Do you have questions about your rights?
Do you have questions about your obligations?
The Legal Clinic is here for you.
For over 40 years, under the supervision of a team of seasoned legal professionals (lawyers and notaries), students with the Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Law Legal Clinic have offered a free legal information service for the general public, including the university community.
This is an educational activity combined with a legal consulting service that the Faculty offers members of the university community. The purpose of an internship in the Legal Clinic is to acquire the skills lawyers need when asked for a legal opinion.
