As a founding member of the judicial assistance, the predecessor of legal aid, Yvon Jasmin has always been preoccupied by the barriers to accessing justice faced by a large part of the population. Throughout his life, both as a lawyer and judge of the Superior Court of Quebec and as President of the Montreal and Quebec Bar, he has worked tirelessly to make justice more accessible.

As someone who shares my father’s concerns, it was only natural for me to contribute financially to the Yvon-Jasmin Fund for Justice.”
