Ésioff-Léon Patenaude (1875-1963)
Lieutenant Governor of Quebec (1934-1939) Ésioff-Léon Patenaude was the 17th Lieutenant Governor of Quebec. He held the position from May 1934 to December 1939 when he was appointed Minister of Internal Revenue in the Borden government (1915), and then Minister of Justice in Arthur Meighen’s government (1926). He also served as President of the Provincial Bank of Canada.
