Gérald Fauteux was the Founder and Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa. The Faculty’s home building, Fauteux Hall, was named after him. He was also a lecturer in penal law at McGill University for 14 years and held the position of Dean of the Faculty of Law in 1949-50.
