Geneviève St-Laurent
Law for the improvement of society
A lecturer at the Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Law since January 2016, Geneviève Saint-Laurent wishes to help train jurists who are interested in and who aspire to changing the world.
As a student at CÉGEP de Rimouski, Geneviève Saint-Laurent developed her passion for political science, because she saw it as a powerful means for “changing the world”. A self-proclaimed idealist, she soon realized that a better understanding of the laws that regulate life in society only increased her desire to serve social justice. That’s when she decided to study law.
