Frédérick Bérard

Frédéric Bérard is Co-director of National Observatory on Language Rights and a lecturer at the Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Law. He is the author of the successful book, La fin de l’État de droit? (A Renaud-Bray favourite) and co-author of Précis d’interprétation législative et essai Droit à l’indépendance. He is also, according to Revue des libraires, one of the “top 10 essayists under 40 who are transforming Quebec today”.

At the Université de Montréal, Frédéric Bérard is a seven-time recipient of the André-Morel Award for Professorial Excellence (2008, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016) and a recipient of the Teaching Excellence Award—Doctoral Students and Post-doctoral Interns Category (2016). He also won a University Teaching Award at McGill University in 2015.
