Hugo Tremblay, LL. D. (Dundee), LL. M. (Laval), LL. B. (Montréal), B.A. (McGill) worked as a criminal attorney in Montreal for many years before obtaining his Master’s Degree in environmental law from the Université Laval (managing groundwater in Québec). After efforts to reinforce the capacity of local authorities to manage drinking water and help the World Water Council develop international aid in the water sector, Professor Tremblay completed a doctoral thesis on the protection of aquatic water systems within the system of comparative national law. Until recently, he was a post-doctoral student at the Faculty.
