“As part of my doctoral research, my principal interest is in the gender categorization for the purpose of civil status in Quebec, namely the legal norms guiding gender determination and the change and publishing of sex designation. My hypothesis is that the gender should be removed from identity documents. The support and encouragement I receive at the Faculty are undisputedly useful in the continuation of my work.”
